OrthoSports Athens, LLC expanding with second facility in Ardmore

Construction is underway on a new OrthoSports Athens, LLC (OSA) facility in Ardmore, Ala. OSA was established by orthopedic surgeons Drs. Patrick Boyette and William Lawrence in 2011. Now, the doctors, along with fellow physicians in their practice, are expanding to Ardmore.

The new facility will allow easier access to orthopedic care for the Ardmore community, keeping patients from having to drive 20-30 minutes to meet with a physician.

“All of our doctors, including myself, are from small towns and therefore remember how challenging it can be to access certain aspects of medical care,” said Will Holley, DPT. “We are doing our part to help remedy those challenges.”

Martin & Cobey is leading the renovation of the Pizza Inn in Ardmore. The total space is 5,000 square feet, with 1,400 square feet making up the OSA doctor’s office. The other half of the facility will house Drayer Physical Therapy, a partner of OSA.

The new OrthoSports facility will offer state of the art X-rays, diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound guided injection capabilities, as well as on-site physical therapy services. It will include three exam rooms, an X-ray room, a reception area, an office and a gym.

Three orthopedic surgeons, a spine surgeon and a sports medicine physician will practice in the new facility, which is projected to open in August 2017.
