You may have noticed, but a lot has changed with the new Athens High School building over the past several months. Piece by piece, the new facility is starting to come together as an average of 225 workers are on site each day.
As the weeks
Athens City School students returned to class after summer recess on Wednesday, Aug. 9. As ninth through 12th grade students walk through the halls of the current Athens High School, just across the street, construction of the new building is well underway.
Opened in 1973, the
Construction is underway on a new OrthoSports Athens, LLC (OSA) facility in Ardmore, Ala. OSA was established by orthopedic surgeons Drs. Patrick Boyette and William Lawrence in 2011. Now, the doctors, along with fellow physicians in their practice, are expanding to Ardmore.
