Why choose a Construction Manager? One of the many benefits of using a CM is the difference in how the project is approached in the beginning stages. CM’s can work with the architects on the design of the project which can help avoid possible problems during construction, something a low bid contractor cannot do. CM’s also prepare bid packages for each individual trade instead of a lump sum bid and any possible savings are passed back to the owners, not in the pocket of the CM.
